The Seeds that Surface 2024
In an intimate setting, between the whispers of past and present, dancer Alexandra Loembé explores the power of imagination and collective creativity. “The seeds that surface” is an interdisciplinary solo performance and metamorphic journey in which childhood memories unfold a boundless landscape, that reveals the complexity and fluidity of cultural identity and the graduate takeover by humans at the expense of the natural world. It portrays the cyclical nature of existence and the potential to illuminate different sides of yourself from the dark.
