Alexandra teaches classes at Academies and schools such as the Academy for Theater and Dance (AHK), the ROCvA, Chassé Dance Studios, Dansplaats Arnhem and CREA. Alexandra also offers open classes and workshops for various groups.

  • Class information

    Alexandra's class is journey in which we deep into our senses, imagination and the natural world. Whilst continuously moving from start to finish we work on playfulness, exploration, improvisation and three-dimensionality, while challenging our endurance. 


    Within the style-transcending choreographies, we bring awareness to the entire movement path through fluidity, breath, bounce and articulation of the spine. The material is circular, rhythmic and associative and the focus is on both personal exploration and collectiveness.


    It is a process-oriented class, that can be accompanied by live music/sounds.


    Alexandra teaches contemporary with an Afrocentric approach.

Creative Embodiment


Alexandra offers her Creative Embodiment workshop on request. The workshop can be accustomed to specific themes and can be given as a 1, 1.5 or 2 hour session. It can be experienced as a single workshop, or as a series of two to six workshops in which we dive deeper into each of the senses.

    Dive into a playful and energetic sensory movement journey. Awaken your body awareness, experience pleasure in dance and expand your creativity!


    During this dance workshop we connect with the breathe, rhythm, the body as a whole and your imagination, while challenging our endurance with childlike playfulness.


    Creative Embodiment is for movement enthusiasts for both less and more experienced movers/dancers and for all that are interested in using movement and dance to tune in with or express themselves. This is a process-oriented and non-judgmental class, in which your personal creative development and embodiment is emphasized. We aim to create a save space were participants can go through their own personal journey but also share and inspire each other.  Continuous exercises ensure a natural build-up of intensity from start to finish. This dance class is accompanied by music and (live) sounds that stimulate the senses and help ground you.
