My second return to @ecoledessables, for the Formation Afrique Diaspora Module 3. What a gift it has been to spend 2,5 months here, to fully indulge into my dance practice, it’s source/essence, to broaden my community and expand my love even more. To all of you I met: Being an artists brought us here. Together as trees we create a forest, as our roots are holding hands wherever we are. Friday mornings w @docentdans 🥁 A warm soup of movement and sound 🦋 Every time I can teach with live music is a gift 🦋 This frase is just one of the last parts of my class 🙏🏽 Here we explore the fluidity of movements while finding a collective timing. It is a frame in which we apply the previous movement research and other exercises. This process still has my heart and is definitely still alive ✨ Just like the piece itself, the ending is just the beginning! A piece about curiosity, vulnerability, sensitivity and an early state of being. She suggests a first touch, the beginning of the day, the feeling of endless possibilities, the rising and setting of the sun and a life course from the first meeting. The performance stimulates the viewer on a physical level, without a real skin-to-skin touch.
