My second return to @ecoledessables, for the Formation Afrique Diaspora Module 3. What a gift it has been to spend 2,5 months here, to fully indulge into my dance practice, it’s source/essence, to broaden my community and expand my love even more. To all of you I met: Being an artists brought us here. Together as trees we create a forest, as our roots are holding hands wherever we are. PIA’S FIRST TOUCH/PIA GOES IN CIRCLES How many circles would they have made by now? Exactly one? Or a whole lot more?? This process still has my heart and is definitely still alive ✨ Just like the piece itself, the ending is just the beginning! A piece about curiosity, vulnerability, sensitivity and an early state of being. She suggests a first touch, the beginning of the day, the feeling of endless possibilities, the rising and setting of the sun and a life course from the first meeting. The performance stimulates the viewer on a physical level, without a real skin-to-skin touch.
